Six Sigma Black Belt Training
Black Belts are critical to solving chronic problems that plague company performance. Not all Black Belt certifications are created equal, and with BMG, individuals will find the most comprehensive training in the industry. BMG builds competent, data-driven Six Sigma practitioners with a robust 24 day program spread over five months. Between the week long classroom sessions, Black Belt candidates return to their business environments to apply the tools and methods studied in class.

BMG's curriculum follows the DMAIC phases, teaching candidates how to integrate a variety of Six Sigma tools into an overall approach to process improvement. Students are taught how to define and successfully launch a project, how to transition it from phase to phase, and finally, how to complete a project and evaluate its success.

To date, BMG has trained thousands of Black Belts throughout the world.

BMG takes a hands-on, real like approach to training. Classes combine lectures with experiential exercises to maximize education time. Throughout training, each candidate works on an actual business project and applies classroom techniques to the project. The Black Belt program is technically challenging to ensure that all graduates learn how to implement solutions that can produce financial results. Instructors provide formal feedback to participants in each phase.

What You'll Learn:
  • A comprehensive education of the Six Sigma methodology and DMAIC process
  • What role Black Belts and other team members play in the success of Six Sigma
  • How to properly define, scope and work on Six Sigma projects
  • How to characterize a complex problem using the Y=f(x) equation
  • How to apply statistical analysis tools to problem solving
  • How to present projects to peers and managers
  • How to transition and close-out existing projects
  • What the "DMAIC" approach to problem solving is and its application
  • How to use MINITAB 14 to analyze Six Sigma projects
